Fifth Rasavikalpam, National Dance Festival organised by Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy will commence on 01st Nov 2015 at six different venues in Kerala. The dance festival will showcase Indian classical dances by eminent dances from all over the country. The festival will take place at six different venues in November first week.
From November 01 to 10 Rasavikalpam will be conducted at Cobank Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram, Rappadi open Air Theatre at Palakkad, Regional Theatre at Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy in Thrissur and Chavara Cultural Centre Kozhikode. Ahalia Heritage village at Palakkad will be the venue of the festival from Nov 01 to 05 and at Kollam the program will be conducted from 03 to 06 Nov at Panchayath Ground, Anchalamoodu.
Bragha Bassel, bharatanatyam dancer, will conduct 8-day workshop on Bharatanatyam at Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, Thrissur from 1 to 8 Nov. Lavanya Ananth, Pratheeksha Kashi, Meenakshi Sreenivasan, The Kirans, Kirthi Ramgopal, Ayswarya Warrier, Pallippuram Sunil & Paris Lakshmi, Shwetha Prachande, Janaki Rangarajan, Navia Natarajan, Yamini Reddy, Aparna Vinod, Laksmi Parthasarathy, Devi Girish, Sreelatha Vinod, Ragini Chandrasekharan &Seetha Sasidharan etc. will perform on these days.

Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, an autonomous body to promote arts, headquartered at Thrissur used to conduct various dance and music festivals to support, encourage and promote the artists and art forms.
