Gowri National Cultural Festival at Palakkad

Gowri Creations at Palakkad, Kerala to celebrate the 4th Gowri National Cultural Festival from 13 to 17 February 2015. The event inaugurated by Kaithaprom Damodaran Namboothiri on 13th of February at 06.00 pm is held at Rappadi Open Air Auditorium, Palakkad. Artists from all over India will paricipate in the 5 - day festival. 

Gowri is an organisation set up with the tagline 'cultural awareness through arts' . The festival conducted in association with ministry of culture, Govt of India will showcase Indian classical as well as folk art forms of the country.  The festival that combines different cultures from India has a wide range of programmes. Dinesh Koduvayur, the president of Gowri Creations, says "Witness the festival and feel its depth".

07.00 pm- Bharatanatyam by Padmashree Shobhana
08.30 pm – Mohiniyattam by Natanakaisiki, the mohiniyattam gurukulam of Natanakairali, Irinjalakkuda
14 Feb:
06. 30 pm – Carnatic music by Dr V R Dileep Kumar
08.00 pm – Kathak by Nirupama & Rajendra.
15 Feb:
06.30 pm: Mohana Veena by Grammy Award Winner Pt. Viswa Mohan Bhutt
08.00 pm: Odissi by Padmashree Madhavi Mudgal.
16 Feb:
06.30 pm – Violin Concert by Vidhushi Kanyakumari
08.30 pm- Bharatanatyam by Sinni Krishnamayoori
17 Feb:
06.00 pm - Closing Ceremony
06. 30 pm - Chhau Dance by artists from Haryana.
