Natyapriya Dance Academy & Dance Jewellery in
association with Save Kidney Foundation is conducting a competition in
Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, the Indian Classical dances, on 24th
and 25th Sept 2016. The competition is conducted for two categories –
7years to 15 years & 16 years and above.
Competition on Bharatanatyam will be held on 24 Sept and
Kuchipudi on 25 Sept from 09.00 am to 04.00 pm at Sopanam Auditorium, Near
Public library, Kollam (Kerala, India). The winners will be entitled by an
award and a cash prize. Along with cash
prize and award, the winners will get an opportunity to perform in the dance festival
organized by Natyapriya. Interested candidates should register for the
competition on or before 31st of August 2016. The registration fee is
Rs 1000 per head. Registration form is attached below.
A passport size photograph and copy of the birth certificate
(any document proving date of birth) should be attached with the registration
form. Participants applying by email should attach scanned copies of documents
/ photographs. Duration of the item is 10 mins. Participants should wear
traditional costumes of the dance forms. A CD of the song should be brought.
