The 9th National Music Festival organised by Palghat Fine Arts society will begin on 25 Oct 2017 at Palghat Fine Arts Society Auditorium, Tharekkad, Palakkad (Kerala, India). The concerts will start at 05.30 pm on allthe days. The seven day music festival will conclude on 31st Oct 2017. Pancharatnakeerthanalapanam will be held on 29th Oct.
On 25th Oct after inauguration, there will be classical music concert by Malladi Brothers - Sreeram Prasad and Ravikumar. Edapally Ajith Kumar (Violin), Manoj Siva (Mridangam) and Alathur T Rajaganesh (Ganjira) will accompany Malladi Brothers.
Concert by Rithwik Raja (Vocal) accompanied with Thiruvananthapuram N Sambath on violin, K V Prasad on mridangam and Uduppi Sreedhar on ghatam will be on 26th of Oct. On 27th, Kathakalipada Kacheri, Kathakali Music Concert by Pathiyur Sankarankutty and Nedumbally Rammohan will be conducted.Concert by Prasanna Venkitaraman along with Charulatha Ramanujam (violin), J Vaidyanathan (mridangam) and Vaikom Gopalakrishnan (ghatam) will be held on 28 Oct.
On 29th Oct, Sunday, Panjaratnakeerthanalapanam will begin from 10.30 am. Violin Concert by Nagai Muraleedharan and Nagai R Sriram will be conducted on the same day evening (05.30 pm). Hindustani Music Concert by Surmani Saniya Patankar and Classical Concert by Gayathri Venkitaraghavan will be on 30th and 31st of October.
