Navarathri Festival of Music and Dance at Panachikkad Dakshina Mookambi temple, Kottayam district

Panachikkad Sri Dakshina Mookambi Kshethram at Panachikadu village in Kottayam district of Kerala celebrates Navarathri in a grand manner every year. This year the celebrations will begin on 27 September 2019. Music and dance performances are held at the temple premise throughout day and night on these days. Young and experienced artists participate in this festival.

The Dakshina Mookambi National festival of Music and Dance, participated by renowned artists from different parts of India, is the highlight of the Navarathri celebrations in this temple. The National festival of Music and Dance will commence on 29 September and conclude on 5 October 2019. Highlights of Navarathri Music & Dance festival are given.

Location/access: Panachikkad, Kottayam District, Kerala. On Kottayam- Changanassery road take diversion from Chingavanam via Paruthumpara/ Kacherikavala.
