Kalakali, the dance of the Ox or Bullock is a ritual
offering to the Gods for the wellbeing of the cattle and is performed by the
communities of agricultural labourers, during the festival days in the region
of River Nila. This footage is from Naduvattam, a remote area in Kuttippuram
Village, Malappuram District, Kerala held on 01 Feb 2016 and the performers
are  Koonamparambil Kuyilan aka Kuttayi
& team.

of Palmyra palm and decorated with the tender leaves of the coconut palm is
another attraction.
