Sreekrishnan), Kottakkal Devadasan (Jatasuran), Kalamandalam Pravin (Kapada
Brahmanan), R L V Pramod (Khadolkachan), Peesappalli Rajeevan (Bheemasenan in
the later scenes), Sadanam Bhasi (Hanuman), Kalamandalam Vishumon (Kubera
Bruthyan) and Kalamandalam Neeraj (Krodhavashan).
This is the 12th year of ‘Arangu’ series organized
by Thiranottam in association with Dr. K N Pisharady Smaraka Kathakali Club,
Irinjalakkuda. Documentation of the full version of the story Kalyanasougandhikam
is also an objective of this event. Apart from the main characters Bheemasenan,
Panchali and Hanuman, other characters staged in the full version of the story
are Sreekrishnan, Dharmaputhran, Lomesha Maharshi, Jatasuran, Khatolkachan,
Parasuraman and Krodhavashan.
