The fifth annual Thrinetra Dance and Music Festival and dance competitions organised by Natyapriya Dance Academy in association with Save Kidney Foundation will be conducted on 5- 7 Oct 2018 at Kollam in Kerala. The competition on Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, the Indian Classical dances will be held on 6 and 7 October. The venue is Sopanam Auditorium, Near Public library, Kollam (Kerala, India). The entry of viewers is free.
According to the organizers, this year, the excess fund collected
from the proceedings of the festival will be donated to the Chief Minister’s
relief fund to support the government efforts to rebuild Kerala after the
massive flood that hit major parts of Kerala in the last month.
The competitions with duration of ten minutes will be
based on three categories- for the age group 7 to 13 years, 14 to 20 years and 21
years and above. Competitions start by 8.30am and continue till evening. The winners will be entitled an award and a
cash prize. Interested participants should register on or before 30
September 2018.
