Nrithyolsavam is the annual classical dance festival
organized by Edappally Nrithaswadaka Sadas, Edappally. Performances of Indian
classical dances, Kuchippudi, Mohiniyattam, Odissi and Bharathanatyam are the
highlight of the festival. A national
seminar on Kuchippudi is part of the event Nritholsavam 2018.

9.30am- Seminar on Kuchippudi organized by Nrithyoham
Centre for Indian Classical Dance, Chennai in association with Edappally
Nrithaswadaka Sadas. Speech/presentations by Sri. Vedandam Radheshya (Sangeet
Nataka Akademi awardee), Sri. Pasumarti Kesavaprasad (Founder, Akhila
Bharatheeya Kuchippudi Natyakala Mandali), Smt. Anupama Mohan (Director,
Sathyanjali Acamedi of Kuchippudi Dance), Smt. Girija Chandran (Director
Regatta Cultural school of Dance and Music), Smt. Geetha Padmakumar (Director,
Padam School of Kuchippudi), Smt. Rekha Sathish (Founder Director,
Nruthyangura, Bangaluru), Smt. Deepa Narayanan (Founder Director, Kuchippudi
Parampara Foundation, Bangaluru) and others.
6.00pm- Kuchippudi dance by Kuchippudi Cousins (
Nrithyasiromani Smt. Seethalakshmi Prasad and Sri. Pasumarhi Mrutyunjaya.

03 Dec-
6.30pm- Kuchippudi Kacheri by Sonu Sathishkumar (film/TV
artist) along with students from Kuchippudi Parampara Foundation, Bangaluru.
04 Dec-
Odissi by Nrithyasiromani Guru Suhag Nalini Das.
05 Dec-
6.30pm- Bharathanatyam (Thanjavur Sadir style) led by P S
A Manu Master. (on stage: Devi Chandana, Keerthana, Prarthana, Pranav Pradeep,
Sreeja, Arya and others.
06 Dec-
6.30pm- Bharathanatyam by Kala Arathi Ratna Anuradha
Vikranth.
Each day, veteran artists of classical dances are
ceremoniously honoured by the organizers. They are Smt. Kalamandalam
Mohanathulasi, Smt. Kalasree Sreedevi Rajan, Smt. Natyacharya Kalakshethra
Vilasini, Sri. Natyakulapathi Kalamandalam Gopinath, Smt. Kalaratna Kalamandalam
Sugandi and Smt. Kalamandalam Chandrika, respectively.
